Leona Lewis‘ Songland song choice is officially out!
The 34-year-old singer made an appearance on Wednesday night’s (August 28) episode of the hit songwriting competition show where she chose contestant Rozee‘s song “Solo Quiero (Somebody to Love)” to record.
Rozee described herself as an “emotional writer” presented “Fighting for Us” which coach Ryan Tedder turned into an unrecognizable Latin banger titled “Solo Quiero (Somebody to Love)” for Leona to record.
“Do you know how excited I am?!” Rozee exclaimed upon hearing the revised track.
Once Rozee presented the new song, Leona fell in love with it and said she connected with the song because it goes back to her Caribbean roots.
“It excited me,” Leona told Rozee. “I grew up on this.”
